About Jaime

Hi there! ? Thanks for wanting to find out a little more about me! Well first and foremost I'm a Christian. I'm a member at River City church in Bartlett, where I've been attending since 2012. My wife and I teach the elementary kids class on Sundays for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. It's very enjoyable to interact with those kids and help them learn the basics of how to be a Christ follower. I'm also a dad myself. I've got two kiddos, one in college and one in high school. They both make me very proud of the young men they are becoming. I've been "officially" in the real estate world since 2006 when I graduated college and become a Realtor. But I actually first got involved when I was 19. I purchased my first real estate course from an infomercial. I'll never forgot it was a get rich quick scheme about buying property at tax sales through municipalities across the nation. John Becks free and clear plan lol. I studied that book inside and out. But as a broke college student who spent 6 nights a week bartending the getting rich part never materialized. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2006, Go Tigers, and got my real estate license in the fall of that same year. I continued bartending at night and working real estate during the day for 3 more years. Full time at both until I felt I could keep a roof over my family's head and food on the table just working with real estate. If you can imagine, the real estate crash in 08 didn't make that particularly easy. The week I decided it was time to start thinking about quitting the bartending job, I prayed that God would show me some type of sign that it was the right direction... And God showed up and showed out. The next day I got multiple calls from friends, friends of friends, and even people I'd never met who found me online all wanting to work with me. 

Fast Forward to 2018 I had started managing property for clients who moved out of town but didn't want to sell their home, I got my brokers license, and I purchased my first long term rental property. (There's no retirement plan that comes with a career in real estate) 

Since then I've helped a ton of people move into, out of, or across town. I've helped people save money by refinancing their current mortgage into one with lower rates, or a shorter length to help them pay it off faster. And I've helped a few people get into the real estate investment game as well. 

My opinion is that buying and selling real estate should be fun. Is it a huge investment? Possibly the largest one a person makes in their lifetime? Sure. Can it be a daunting and stressful thing to go through? Sure. But it doesn't have to be. It should also be fun and exciting. Look I'm a firm believer in letting God's plan work the way He intends for it to work. If it's meant to be it will be, He will see to it. No need to stress over what God has planned for your life. As no matter how much you stress, it's still going to turn out the way He planned for it to.
